1. There was a difference in culture right from the beginning. The indians were more connected to the land, while the english just wanted to change and pocess it. The English saw the natives as childlike and infirior, thus starting the decline in cultural understanding and leading to war.
2.In New England the English saw the natives as barbaric devils that had to be destoyed. In Virginia the English saw the Natives as people who had to be changed and could be changed.
3. The Irish and Natives both had a love for land. They didn't cultivate their land in the same way the English did, the both moved with the land as the seasons changed. Also, the English saw both groups of people as barbaric and inhumane.
